Raffaella, I expect that the team at Yammer will be responding to your question. You have asked an interesting question that I am sure other readers will like to read the response as well.

I would like to know whether it is possible to place Yammer on an existing website, as a sort of banner. People visiting the website could immediately see correspondence thread between colleagues grouped in Yammer. I am trying to find out the best way to centralize all information in an interactive environment withou having to jump from one website (which is required within my department) to yammer in order to follow the latest updates.
I hope you can advise.
Thank you
Raffaella

Yammer is a good tool and has a ton of potential; however, it does still have a few drawbacks...the greatest is that it is difficult to add other partner/contractors not using company domain emails. I also like Laconica as it is customizable and integrates with Twitter. It is an opensource microblog tool. Good stuff as usual with Fill the Funnel!
